SUSAN DAVIS - HOST

Susan Davis' career in floral design began 30 years ago. She started with a Film and Television degree that cultivated her love of the arts.  After doing set design for QVC her passion for creative arts led her into Event Florals.  She has been the owner of Fresh Designs Flora & Events for 28+ years. She is a national speaker/educater and the founder of The Design Sanctuary Workshop.  She has trained countless apprentice florists and many have gone on to start their own shops.  Bringing her sense of line, color, texture to her work she creates one of a kind experiences for all of her clients.  After 30 years wedding and events still make her heart skip a beat.  

Shannon wellington - HOST

Shannon Wellington is a purveyor of beautiful event aesthetics. By taking on only a select number of events per year, she and her Shannon Wellington Weddings team provide a boutique wedding & event planning experience.

Shannon is known for her deeply rooted relationships, whether it’s with her clients or other event professionals and one of her greatest joys is providing her clients with the perfect match when it comes to choosing who to bring on for their event.  In addition, that same attention is paid to every aspect of her client’s event, whether it’s a timeline, a linen texture and everything in between.

Her work has been featured in national publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot and Self Magazine and our local favorite, Philadelphia Wedding Magazine.  You’ll also see plenty of her visual inspiration on blogs like Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, 100 Layer Cake, Wedding Chicks, Ruffled Blog and more. She is the co-founder of the Design Sanctuary Workshop.
